III. COURSE REQUIREMENTS:
A.
Memory Verses: Students will be given two memory verses each week (one for each lesson). All memory verses are to be e-mailed to the instructor before the next session.
B.
Attendance: Students are required to attend all classes.
If a class is missed, the student will be required to view this class on
his own time. No credit will be given to any student who fails to
make up a missed class.
C.
Essays: Our study will be divided into 3 sections - 1.
The
One
True
Church
and the History of Denominationalism; 2. Prominent Heresies of the
Great Apostasy; 3. Major Denominations of Today. For each
section studied, students will be required to write a 3-5
page essay that illustrates their understanding of the Bible in that
area; there will be a total of 3 essays written. In order to
receive credit for the class, any unacceptable essay must be rewritten
and resubmitted until an acceptable mark has been earned.
D.
Tests: There will be 3 tests, one for each section studied.
They will consist of 9-10 questions (100 questions per section) taken
from each lesson within the section. A student must answer 70 of
the 100 questions correctly in each section in order to receive credit
for the class. If a student misses more than 5 questions over any
one lesson, he will not be given a passing grade for the test,
regardless of whether his grade for the entire test is greater than 70.
Students will be given another chance to make up a failed test.
