PURPOSE:
This course is designed to obtain a better, working understanding of 1st and 2nd Corinthians so that the students will be able to use these books more efficiently in their ministries

COURSE REQUIREMENTS:
Be logged in and ready for class on time for each session
Turn in all assignments on time
Come prepared and ready to participate
If OSC, student must watch lectures and email instructor on time
TEST AND ASSIGNMENTS:

Written Assignment:
Write four, twenty-minute sermons from four different chapters of First Corinthians dealing with issues faced by the church in Corinth that still cause the church problems today
Write four, twenty-minute sermons from four different chapters of Second Corinthians dealing with issues faced by the church in Corinth that still cause the church problems today
Due November 28th
Reading Assignment:
Read First and Second Corinthians completely through three times during the course of the semester
Read one chapter a week of The Bible Doctrine of Christian Fellowship by Robert R. Taylor, Jr.
Answer the thought questions at the end of each chapter
Limit your answers to half paragraph each or less
The thought questions will be due November 28th
GRADING:
Written Assignment = 350 pts or 35% of grade
Attendance = 300 pts or 30% of grade (each class is worth approximately 3.7 points)
Points will be assessed according to OABS standards of attendance
If you are an OSC student, make sure to watch the lectures and email the instructor on time
Reading Assignment = 350 pts or 35% of grade
Total points possible: 1000 pts or 100% of grade
CLASS SCHEDULE:
Classes will start on the first Saturday in August. We will meet at 1:00 – 1:50 PM CTZ (1st hour), 2:00 – 2:50 PM CTZ (2nd hour) and 3:00 – 3:50 PM CTZ (3rd hour).
